LeadershipAssessments
Assessments built to show you the patterns in how you lead that you cannot see yourself.
Assessments built to diagnose
Most leadership assessments tell you what you already know. The point of an assessment is to show you where you are succeeding and failing in ways that are not obvious to you.
Some of what we most need to learn about our own leadership is exactly the part we cannot see. So we build assessments to reveal what a leader can’t see. An assessment gives you evidence. A diagnosis reads that evidence in context, across several sources, to work out what pattern is operating.
You can read the full thinking behind this work in Diagnosing Leadership: Assessments That Change How You Lead.
The assessments we have built
Our assessments come at this from different angles, each exploring a different kind of insight. Select any one to read more about it.
Each of these is available now. Try the free intro assessment below, or book a call to set any of them up for yourself or your team.
Try it: pattern in how you relate to your authority
You work through five situations that don’t have a simple correct response. At the end, the assessment names a pattern in how you relate to your authority. It is free to run.
The intro assessment runs in about 25 minutes from start to finish.
You work through five situations and make a real choice in each one.
You get feedback after each scenario, so you learn as you go.
At the end you get a synthesis that highlights the pattern in your choices.

What the synthesis names
The synthesis reads the choices you made across the five scenarios and names the pattern in how you lead.
Your instinctive moves
What you optimize for under pressure - relationship, precision, speed, safety - and how consistently that pattern shows up across different situations.
What your pattern accomplishes
The real strengths your instincts create - what they protect, what they signal, and why they've worked as well as they have.
What it leaves unaddressed
The shadow of your strength - the systemic issues your pattern consistently misses, and why they keep resurfacing despite your best efforts.
Your developmental edge
The specific capability shift that would move you from managing the effects of a problem to changing the underlying dynamic that creates it.
What you get at the end
At the end you get a synthesis that names the pattern in your choices. Here is an example of what that reads like.
“You consistently choose moves that preserve relationships and maintain system stability, demonstrating sophisticated emotional intelligence and perceptiveness about what others need in the moment. Your core strength is creating psychological safety through empathetic response. However, this pattern creates a significant shadow: your drive to maintain relational harmony prevents you from addressing root causes and systemic dysfunction, leaving underlying problems to resurface. The developmental question is whether you can learn to use your exceptional relational awareness to surface and resolve systemic issues, going beyond managing their effects.”

The five scenarios cover:
“What excites me most is what they make possible: the chance to experiment and see ahead through interactive scenarios, to build capacity for thinking more systemically, to anticipate typical challenges, and to notice the patterns we fall into during challenging micro-leadership moments.”
“Kirsti’s experience navigating conflict and complexity in some of the world’s most challenging environments gives her a depth of practical wisdom that enriches everything she does.”

We hold our own programs to the same standard
The same discipline runs through how we evaluate our leadership programs: paired before-and-after assessment of concrete behaviors, checked against how each leader’s team experiences them.
The assessment shows you the pattern. Practice is how you change it.
An assessment shows you the pattern you fall into under pressure. The Leadership Flight Simulator is where you practice a different move. You step into a scenario that unfolds in real time and make the calls as they come.
